Yes. DJ City specializes in Nigerian, Ghanaian, Kenyan, South African, Haitian, and multicultural weddings. Owner Olalekan Oyewusi is Nigerian-born with 15+ years of experience and a 40,000+ song library covering Afrobeats, Amapiano, Highlife, Juju, Fuji, Bongo Flava, Kompa, Zouk, and modern African hits.

Do you offer uplighting and dancing on clouds?

Yes. Dancing on Clouds is $500 as an add-on or included in our Premium ($2,800) and Elite ($4,000+) packages. LED Uplighting is $600 for up to 20 fixtures and is included in Premium and Elite packages. Custom monogram lighting is $300 standalone or included in Premium and Elite.

How far in advance should we book a party DJ?

For milestone birthdays, anniversaries, and holiday parties, we recommend booking two to three months out — more for peak holiday-season dates in November and December, which fill up fast. That said, we can sometimes accommodate shorter notice, so it's always worth asking.

Do you take song requests and a do-not-play list?

Always. We plan the vibe with you ahead of time, welcome guest requests on the night when you want them, and strictly honor your do-not-play list.

Do you provide lighting and an MC?

Yes. Dance-floor lighting comes standard, uplighting is available as an add-on, and we handle MC duties and announcements so the night flows smoothly.

Do you travel outside Massachusetts?

Yes. We're based in Brockton and regularly travel across New England. Travel details are confirmed when you book.
